At our facility, only Orthopedic Technicians with a recognized university degree and registration in the professional register are employed.

The Orthopedic Technician is a healthcare professional with a university qualification, responsible for the construction, adaptation, application, and training in the use of prostheses, orthoses, and assistive devices that support, correct, or replace functions of the musculoskeletal system.

To ensure the protection of both patients and professionals, the Italian state established the Professional Register in 2018. Being registered in the official healthcare register for orthopedic technicians is a legal requirement and a fundamental condition for practicing the profession.

Anyone practicing this healthcare activity without authorization is subject to imprisonment from 6 months to 3 years and a fine ranging from €10,000 to €50,000.
