Talus or Baruk shoe - rigid sole shoes

The Baruk shoe is a special orthopedic shoe with a wide base, hook-and-loop opening, open at the front, and with a sole only at the back, corresponding to the heel.

This shape has been designed to relieve the forefoot for post-surgery recovery, or to alleviate pain in case of swelling or other conditions like ulcers or sores.

It is an excellent alternative to shoes with a rigid sole like the TD po 500 or Podalux, which prevent load on the forefoot, and are therefore often prescribed by doctors, especially for corrective surgery for hallux valgus and hammer toes.
