The classic plaster cast for bone fractures is becoming increasingly rare. In recent years, in fact, when possible, more and more fractures of the arm bones are being immobilized with the appropriate braces.

These braces immobilize the arm just like a cast would, but they are more comfortable and lighter and can be wet.

Additionally, they can be easily removed for hygiene purposes.
