Treatment of congenital clubfoot

On average, one in 1000 newborns is born with a lower limb malformation known as congenital clubfoot.

The baby's foot points inward, with the toes pointing downward. If left untreated, the condition becomes permanent and prevents the individual from walking.

In many cases, corrective shoes that follow the Ponseti method are sufficient to correct the problem.

These special shoes, equipped with the necessary bar for fixation, help the newborn maintain the foot in the correct position, promoting the proper development of bones and muscles.
